Circa 1940 Set of 8 Solid Silver and Cut Glass Drinks Coasters.

Description

Set of eight solid silver and cut glass stackable drinks coasters with sterling silver bellied frames, turned over lip, and etched cut glass star bases. These are meant to protect a table top from water marks, when used to rest a drinks or wine glass. They are stylish and attractive, as well as very functional.

Marked sterling under base edge. Sterling silver is .925 fine solid silver.

Size-3 3/16 inches diameter by 7/16 inches high.

Weight-280 grams together, or 35 grams each.

In very good condition, these will add a touch of elegance to the bar or table, and would also make a lovely gift.
