Large 94g Sterling Silver Jersey Shooting Serving Spoon 1929 Antique Miltary Jra

Description

A superb large English antique solid sterling silver shooting spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1929 with the makers being that of C T Maine of Jersey. It has been made for the Jersey Rifle Shooting Association having its logo to its terminal, it was presented later in 1963 I assume they had several produced in 1929. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 9 inches (22.4cm) long by 2 inches (4.9cms) wide and weighs 94 grams. A very nicely made interesting piece.

Declaration

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the 1920s.
