Pair of early 19th Cent. Bronze Crane Candlesticks by Thomas Abbott, English
A stunning Pair of English patinated bronze and ormolu single light candlesticks of good proportion, modelled as a pair of storks. Each Stork is perched on a rocky mound, the naturalistic cast oval form ormolu nozzle and drip pans above leaf cast base held aloft in the birds mouth. Exquisite carving. The base stamped ''Abbott''.
