English Sterling Silver Connemara Marble Bookmark Page Marker 1897 Antique

Description

A rare English Victorian antique solid sterling silver and Connemara marble bookmark or page marker. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1897 with the makers mark of Joseph Cook & Son. It has been superbly designed having a Celtic cross terminal inset with Connemara or Iona marble. It is in super condition being free from dings splits chips cracks and repairs. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.6cm) long by almost 0.75 inch (1.7cm) wide and weighs 4 grams. A beautifully made example.
