Fabulous opal antique Edwardian estate sale ring, bought from a client who’s inherited it from family and looking for a new home. The large opal is set in 9ct gold as is often the case with antique Edwardian rings, large valuable stones were set in lower carat gold. It takes nothing away from the magnificence of the stone, the play of colour is wonderful, this is how opals are valued, when they have a combination of green blues and oranges they are more valuable, as this has. Can be sized to fit, currently a 6, with a little wiggle room behind the stone.
