Rare Novelty Solid Sterling Silver Mr Punch Wax Sealing Wax Holder 1909 Antique

Description

A super quality rare solid sterling silver novelty wax seal holder. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1909 with the makers mark being that of Sydney & Co. It has been superbly designed being in the form of Mr Punch. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, there are the remnants of wax in it but this can be removed by warming it. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.6cm) long by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide and weighs 12 grams. A top quality rare example.
