Beautiful Edwardian 18ct Gold Ruby Diamond Cluster Ring. This stunning Ring has a cherry red ruby measuring 6mm x 5mm to the centre of approximately 0.50ct. The sapphire is surrounded by 9 old cut natural diamonds of approx 2.6mm each so at least 0.50ct diamonds which are very bright white and sparkly. The total face of the ring measure 12 x 10mm. All the stones are very well set in a lovely old setting of the highest quality. The ring is in absolutely excellent antique condition and has a good weight. The shoulders have beautiful cut away details and the hallmarks are clear for 18ct gold and probably dates to the late Victorian early Edwardian period. All stones have been tested for diamond and ruby, the diamonds are natural. The ruby tests as ruby and I think its is natural but I have not sent it to a lab for testing so potentially it could be a high quality synthetic ruby and I have reflected this in the price.
