Sterling Silver & Gold Steeple Mordan Box 1944 Military Raf WWII 106g

Description

A high quality solid sterling silver and gold box. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1944 with the makers marks being WHM. It has a stylish design being engine turned with a solid gold thumb piece. The inside has been gilded and engraved with an inscription relating to Steeple Morden and the military stationed there during WWII. It is in superb condition being free from dings, splits and repairs. It measures over 3 inches (8cms) by 2.5 inches (5.6cms) 1cm tall and weighs 106 grams. A very good quality well made interesting piece.
