Pair of Liberty Tudric Arts and Crafts Candelabra Circa 1910

1900 - 1920
Description

Here is a superb pair of Tudric Pewter candelabra, made by WH Haseler of Birmingham for Liberty of London, circa 1910.

Very rarely seen in this double armed candelabra form ( they are usually found with a single stem and sconce) they are crafted in planished pewter with a double helix carved oak / barley twist stem, and topped with planished pewter sconces with removable candle holders.

They bear the Tudric name stamped to the base, along with the serial number 01301, and the name Solkets - which was the name H Hasler used when manufacturing for Liberty. There are also two 'touchmarks' scratched into each base which is the individual craftsman's maker's mark.

Both are in fantastic condition having been professionally cleaned, and stand 34cm tall and 34cm wide.

These are quite rare, and very special indeed.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch if I can provide any further information or photographs.

I offer free delivery to mainland UK, and am more than happy to help with quotes for shipping abroad.

Archival Detail
Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.
