Stunning 235g Hanau Solid Sterling Silver Dish Tray C1890 Antique Heavy

Description

A beautiful heavy German Hanau antique solid sterling silver dish or tray. It is hallmarked with Georgian pseudo marks and tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1890 most likely made in the Hanau region of Germany. It has been beautifully designed being cast and pierced with swags and busts, possibly of King George I of Hanover. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 7.25 inches (18.3cms) across and weighs 235 grams. A very good quality piece.
