Gilded Golf Ball Style Sterling Silver Sovereign Case Holder Box Antique 1905

1900 - 1920
Description

A beautiful English sterling silver gilt sovereign case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1905 with the makers marks being ALD. I has a dimpled golf ball design and has been gilded inside and out. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the odd faint mark. It closes securely and flips open when the button is depressed. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (4.8cms) including the loop and weighs 19 grams. A very nice clean piece.
