Description

A beautiful rare solid silver Indian card case. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1880 almost certainly made in Kutch. It has been beautifully hand made being embossed and chased with scrolls and flowers with the cartouche being engraved with the single initial N. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, faint push to the cartouche. It measures approx. 4 inches (10cm) tall by 2.75 inches (7.3cm) wide and weighs 130 grams. A superbly designed beautiful example.
