Heal’s Oak Stool with Label C1920

Description

This original HEAL’S OAK STOOL, with inset label for HEAL & SON LTD LONDON W, dates from circa 1920.

It has been professionally rewebbed and, what I believe to be, the original fabric has been retained. This fabric has signs of wear and it is a matter of personal choice whether it is replaced.. It could be used as a guide for either a needlework replacement or in choosing a sympathetic, new fabric.

The STOOL is strong and sturdy.
