Early 20th Century Marly Horse Spelter Lamp

Description

An impressive early 20th century French Spelter and plaster ‘Marly Horse’ table lamp modelled after one of the two marble originals by Guillaume Coustou commissioned by Louis XIV for the Chateau de Marly.

Standing on a red marble base and finished with a shaped frosted glass shade. Circa

1920/1930. In excellent condition, having been professionally rewired and PAT safety tested.

19.5 inches wide x 9.25 inches deep x 33 inches high
