A fine example of a late 18thc Spiral Barn / Cellar Candlestick ....it has a finely turned fruitwood base with "ring turned" decoration and has got an excellent colour with a fine patina ..... I particularly like the "curled" adjustable handle for raising the candle as it burns down....the candlestick is in excellent working order, considering these were used outside in the barn or in the cellar ...
