Quality 224g Italian Solid Silver Table Cigarette Cigar Box 1940-50s Desk Item

Description

A superb good sized heavy Italian solid silver table cigarette / cigar or jewellery box. It is hallmarked with the 800 standard mark and the Firenze Italian official national mark used between 1944 to 1968. It has been superbly designed being engine turned to the sides and lid. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, it closes tightly. It measures approx. 5.5 inches (14.4cm) across by 3.25 inches (8.5cm) wide by over 1 inch (2.8cm) tall and weighs 224 grams. A superbly made very high-quality piece.
