E Thomas & Williams Ltd. Makers Aberdare

Midget

Welsh coal miners gas testing instrument/tool lamp, circa 1930s

The two bonnet gauzes worn through at the top and the lamp locking device is missing

In very good overall condition, everthing present and working.

Adjustable vents above and below the glass, flint spark re-lighter, screw wheel adjustable wick, etc.

Typical stamped marks throughout E.T.&W. MIDGET 15 etc.

Height excluding hook and ring 8" or 204mm, weight 1327 grams.
