A Victorian Novelty Silver Coal Scuttle Mustard Pot & Spoon

A most unusual Victorian silver and glass novelty mustard pot and spoon, fashioned as a coal scuttle. This interesting piece has a silver collar and base. The hinged lid is articulated and opens by lowering the swing handle. The body is made of Bristol Blue glass and there is a contemporary hallmarked silver spoon supplied to complete the duo. This superior and unusual example is a handsome collector's piece, both practical and decorative. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits to the silver and no chips or cracks to the body. There is some external 'pitting' to the glass, which is part of the manufacture and not damage.
