Georgian Period Mahogany Bureau

Description

Here we have for sale today this wonderful Georgian Period Mahogany Bureau.

Dating 1780 ish and all made in solid Mahogany, all raised on these bracket feet with moulded edge, having four graduating cock-beaded drawers, a hinged fall front with a fully fitted interior to include a 12 drawer interior, plus two concealed compartments / secret drawers.

Drawers fitted with these brass Neoclassical handles and keyhole escutcheon plates.

The fall fitted with this wonderful Georgian brass working lock and original iron key.

Original polish plus patina its a medium mahogany colour with a wonderful polish (please see pictures)

Solid in all its joints with NO breaks, & NO woodworm.

Payment methods can be by Bank to Bank transfer, cash, cheque, credit or debit card. All moneys must be cleared before items are delivered or collected. We offer a UK, 7 day full money refund if items are not as described or do not suit your requirements (excluding logistics)

We are a furniture restoration workshop, busy from day to day doing restoration work for the trade and general public alike.

All items for sale have been restored if restoration is required, unless otherwise stated. Upholstered items will have been re-upholstered, however if the fabric choice is not to taste, we offer a re-upholstery service in customers own fabric, or from our wide range of Linwood and Jim Dickens Fabric ( samples available )
