Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The cartouche is un-engraved which gives the option to personalise the fob as a gift by adding intials or an inscription. The fob could also be worn as an unusual rose gold pendant rather than a key fob.

Hallmarked on the reverse 375 for 9ct gold by Birmingham Assay Office, dated 1914 with the makers for William James Dingley. In lovely condition.
