A Very Rare 'Escence of Anchovey' Georgian Silver Bottle Ticket

A delightful and very rare example of 18th Century, Georgian silver tableware. This is a kidney shaped silver label, for a condiment bottle. This example is an 'Escence of Anchovey' label, with both of the major words given an eccentric spelling. In Georgian times cruets were large, impressive structures containing many bottles for various table condiments. The spelling being unusual, is particularly interesting to collectors. Others found are Soy, Ketchup, Cayenne, Lemon and several more. Dimensions below.
