Technical Description
 
A superb pair of matching William IV silver plated reticulated wine bottle or decanters coasters dating to between 1832 and 1840. Rosewood turned base with felt.
 
Beautiful design and certainly one of the finest pairs we have had. They can be used to hold decanters or wine bottles and protect the table from scratches and drip spillage.
 
They were made in Birmingham by Thomas Wilkinson sometime between 1842 and the early 1840''s and their mark is shown on both examples.

Condition
 
Excellent, no dings, cracks or restoration, they are both clean and clear. The felt on the underside is a little worn.
