Heavy 188g English Sterling Silver Engine Turned Cigarette Case 1945 Art Deco

Description

A stylish very clean English solid sterling silver cigarette case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1945 with the makers marks being that of John Rose. It has been beautifully designed being engine turned with the cartouche being engraved with the initials BC. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, slight fading of the gilding on the side without the strap. It measures approx. 5 inches (12.5cm) long by 3.5 inches (9cm) wide and weighs 188 grams. A super quality example.
