Rare English Edwardian Solid Sterling Silver Vesta Case 1901 Antique

Description

A beautiful rare Edwardian English antique solid sterling silver vesta case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1901 with the makers mark being LE. It has been superbly designed being decorated with a crocodile skin affect and gilded inside. It has a steel striker to the base. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It works perfectly with a strong hinge. It measures approx. 2 inches (4.7cms) by 1.25 inches (3.5cms) by 1.2cms and weighs 30 grams. A very unusual example.
