Antique Georgian Sterling Silver 8" Tray 1772 - Carpe Diem

Description

This is a superb antique Georgian hallmarked sterling silver tray measuring 8” (20 cms) across.

It’s hallmarked for London 1772 with the silversmiths mark for John Carter II.

It’s in excellent condition with an armorial crest in the centre with the motto 'Carpe Diem' which translates to 'Sieze the Day'.

It sits on three handsome feet and weighs 590 grams / 10.5 troy oz.

This lovely tray will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
