Antique Silver Landscape Photo Frame Chester 1922

Antique silver landscape photograph frame hallmarked as Chester 1922 by maker Stokes & Ireland Ltd.

A nice simple frame with plain polished silver surround, very much of the period, with a solid wood back and stand.

The smooth silver wraps around the sides.

 

Hallmarked on the edge of the frame as silver by the Chester Assay Office, 1922, with makers marks for Stokes Ireland Ltd.

 

Condition: It has some light scratches and a couple of ripples where it is not quite flush with the glass, but generally this charming frame is in good antique condition.

 

Measurements: 11.1 cm x 7.8 cm (4.3" x 3.1") external. Aperture size 9.6 cm x 6.4 cm. Weight: 108 grams
