A beautiful early 20th Century 18ct gold and natural unheated cornflower blue star sapphire ring. The sapphire is cabochon cut and is set in a simple rub over setting possibly originally a gentlemans ring but stylishly modern in feel so suitable for a lady. Natural unheated sapphires are rare and very collectable and this is a particuarly lovely one light cornflower blue in colour which is typical of those from either Burma or Ceylon. 8gms and size O.
