A fabulous and very collectable brooch by the leading Copenhagen jeweller ''Anton Michelsen'' 1809 - 1877, who started his silversmith business in 1841 and became the leading Danish jeweller to the royal family at that time. The silver brooch is in the form of a heart, intertwined with mistletoe which has been enamelled a lovely deep green colour. On the back are the marks for Anton Michelsen along with ''Sterling Denmark''. There is a good fastening pin which works well.
Condition: In super condition.
Period: Victorian
Measurements: Height: 3 cm Width: 3 cm Depth: 8. mm Weight: 5.7 grams
