Beautiful 80g German 800 Solid Silver Cherub Desk Table Box C1900 Antique

Description

A beautiful German antique 800 solid silver box. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark, the 800 silver standard mark and the makers marks is rubbed. I would date it to c1900. It has been beautifully made being oval form with the lid depicting three cherubs. The base has been engraved with the initials ED. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and the lid closes tight. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8cm) across by over 2.25 inches (6cm) wide by 0.75 inch (1.8cm) tall and weighs 80 grams. A beautiful piece.
