Lovely Silver Photograph Frame Hallmarked Birmingham 1927

Lovely silver photograph frame in smooth polished silver, wrapping around the front and partially covering the sides. The back of the frame is wooden with an arm to allow free standing. The back of the frame is held in place with swivel catches, and the aperture takes a photo size of approx. 3.5" x 5.5".

 

Clear hallmarks are visible on one side of the frame for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1927 and makers mark for Henry Matthews.

A fine frame simply styled to focus attention on the photo. Photo frames make a fabulous gift for any occasion.
