Huge Rare Exeter Sterling Silver Serving Soup Serving Ladle 1818 Antique 208g

Description

A huge heavy rare Georgian provincial antique solid sterling silver serving ladle. It is hallmarked for Exeter 1818 with the maker’s marks being that of William Welch II of Exeter. It has been superbly made to what is termed fiddle pattern with the terminal being engraved with the single initial A. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 13.25 inches (34cm) long by over 4 inches (10.5cm) wide and weighs a very impressive 208 grams. A top quality rare Exeter piece.
