Antique Moonstone Set Star Brooch Pendant Tests 14ct Gold

A superb antique moonstone set star brooch which can also be worn as a pendant. The setting tests as 14 ct gold. The brooch is formed as an eight pointed star with a total of twenty five beautiful moonstones which shimmer like moonlight with shades of blue and hints of pink. Radiating out from a larger central stone, three moonstones are set along each point of the star, decreasing in size towards each tip. 

The moonstones sit in the yellow gold setting with a simple claw setting, and have been extremely well matched for size and colour. 

 

This is a stunning quality brooch with a magical shimmer. A wonderful gift! 

The brooch fastens at the rear with a long pin and c catch, and there is a gold loop to use with a chain and wear as a pendant. Not hallmarked but tests as 14 ct gold.
