108g Victorian Sterling Silver Coronation Anointing Baptism Spoon 1888 Royalty

Description

A superb large English Victorian antique solid sterling silver spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1888 with the makers marks being difficult to decipher but most likely Francis Higgins. It has been superbly designed in the form of a Medieval coronation / anointing spoon - note this is earlier than most they usually date to the early 20th Century. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 10.25 inches (26.2cm) long by 2.25 inches (5.7cm) wide and weighs 108 grams. A very nice quality piece.
