Description

A rare high quality solid silver and enamel pill box. It is hallmarked with a makers mark UF and tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1900-1910 almost certainly made in Denmark. It has been beautifully made having an enamelled Danish flag and Royal crown to its lid. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits chips cracks and repairs, scratches to the inside base from use. The enamel is perfect. It measures approx. 1.5 inches (3.7cms) square by 0.75 inches (2.2cms) tall and weighs 37 grams. A superbly made piece.
