Description

A stunning Victorian silver tray, decorated with delightful cherubs; one cherub has with a harvest theme.

 

Elaborate swags and floral motifs complete the central motif. The shape is a an elongated quatrefoil edged with a raised rim with pinched/folded details. This is a truly gorgeous example of ornate late Victorian silver craftmanship. Hallmarked for London 1899, the mark for Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Ltd and with a registration number: rd 308784

 

What an exceptional christening present this would make, or a romantic statement on a dressing table.
