Norwegian Silver and White Enamel Floral Design Brooch

Vintage Norwegian silver and white enamel brooch with floral pattern by Andresen & Scheinpflug.

A wonderful large circular brooch in silver gilt and white guilloche enamel with a floral design. The brooch is cleverly shaped to look like a continuous band or mobius strip - a one-sided form. The gilt edges are ridged to catch the light and swirling shape and crisp white pattern all add to the sparkle.

Marked 925S on the rear, for sterling silver, with the makers mark for Andresen & Scheinpflug, who were in production from 1936 -1966.

Period: c.1940's-50's

 The brooch fastens well with a simple pin and 'c catch, and is in superb vintage condition.

A fabulous brooch, extremely wearable and a super gift for lovers of mid century Scandinavian jewellery.
