Mappin & Webb Silver Toast Rack Hallmarked Sheffield 1938

1920 - 1940
Description

A stylish 1930's Mappin & Webb four slice silver toast rack with a spade shaped handle. The rack is formed of wide flat bands of silver curving smoothly inwards towards the base, which has straight ends and four integral feet.

 

It is a smart design with Art Deco appeal, and would make a wonderful wedding or anniversary gift.

 

The toast rack is hallmarked Sheffield 1938 and bears both the makers mark and stamp for well known silversmiths Mappin and Webb. In super condition.

 

Measurements: Length 8 cm Width 6.6 cm Height including handle 8.1 cm Weight 79 grams
