German Antique 800 Solid Silver Cherub Box C1900 Germany 44g

Description

A very pretty German solid silver snuff box. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark and the 800 standard mark. I would date it to c1900. It has been superbly designed being embossed depicting a cherub or possibly Cupid. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and the lid closes flush. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.6cm) across by 0.75 inches (1.6cm) tall and weighs 44 grams. A very pretty example.
