Description

A rare superb quality solid silver cigarette case. It is hallmarked with what I think are the marks of Wang Hing along with the 90 minimum standard silver mark. I would date it to c1900. It has been beautifully designed being decorated with an applied dragon with internal gilding. It is in very good condition being free from splits holes and repairs, there are two tiny dings see final photos. The catch works well and it closes tightly, it requires elastic straps inside. It measures approx. 3 inches (7,.8cms) wide 3.25 inches (8.5cm) tall and weighs 115 grams. A super quality example.
