Description

Elegant Pretty Pair of Antique Edwardian Period Small Sterling Silver Candlesticks

Condition: Very good antique condition. A few tiny, minor dints around the top rim of one and a tiny little imperfection near the hallmark on the foot of the other. No dents or damage elsewhere. A lovely pair and ready to use.

Fully hallmarked as follows:

CB into an oval on one, CB & S into a trefoil on the other (both for Charles Boyton & Son)

Birmingham assay office

Lion passant

Date letters for 1906 on one and 1907 on the other

Measurements:

Height: 9cm

Diameter of base: 6.25cm

Approximate diameter of candle opening: 1.5cm (for the slimmer/slender candles, sometimes called taper candles)

Combined weight: 164g
