Asprey & Co. Solid Silver Double Inkwell / Stamp Box 1911

This unusual and rare SOLID SILVER DOUBLE INKWELL was made by the well-know and sought after silversmiths of Asprey & Co in 1911.

The double inkwells are housed under a flip top lid and are complete with the original glass inserts to hold the ink. Above the inkwell lid is a second flip-top lid housing three gilded stamp compartments, making this a very unusual piece.

In excellent condition, with no faults despite being over 110 years old, this superb high quality Silver Double Inkwell and Stamp Box would look stunning on any desk or would enhance any silver collection.
