Silver Heart Shaped Toast Rack Hallmarked Birmingham 1913 by Hukin & Heath

Description

Silver heart shaped toast rack hallmarked as sterling silver, Birmingham 1913 with the makers mark for Hukin & Heath.

 

A delightful early twentieth century silver toast rack with a heart shaped handle. The heart motif continues on the rack which is formed of five inverted hearts on a curved oblong base. The silverwork is curved and rounded with the tips of the hearts forming neat points to the four slice rack.

It is a lovely, romantic design, and would make a perfect gift for a wedding or anniversary.

 

Condition: This toast rack is in great antique condition.

 

Measurements: Length: 10 cm Height including handle: 9 cm Depth: 5.7 cm .

Weight: 84 grams
