Rare Birmingham 1895 Victorian Solid Silver Swizzle Stick Designed as a Realistic Golf Club.

Description

Birmingham 1895 English hallmarked solid silver swizzle stick in the form of a realistically modelled golf club iron! A perfect gift for the golfer to use when mixing and serving cocktails.

This lovely and unusually uncommon piece has very clear hallmarks, a very realistic wrapped grip effect, tapering shaft and club head. It is in very good condition.

Made by James Fenton of Great Hampton St. Birmingham.

Size-8 inches long.

Weight-25 grams.

The original fitted case which keeps it secure for storage and transport is also included, however the case is only in fair condition.

A very unusual and well made presentation for a swizzle stick, which will be sure to be a talking point. A great gift for the collector of novelty Victorian silver, the male or female golfer, and the drinks enthusiast. It would also make a great presentation gift at a golf tournament.

I have not seen another.

In very good condition.
