Unusual English Sterling Silver Chess Trophy Knight Antique 1936 Heavy 114g

Description

A very interested sterling silver chess trophy. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1936 with the makers marks being HWPM. It has been made in the form of a Knight and engraved BCCA R.Lennox. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes cracks and repairs. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (9.1cms) tall including the Bakelite base by 2.5 inches across the base. (The chess piece on its own measures over 2 inches and weigh 81 grams). The total weight is 114 grams. A very interesting piece.
