Rare Flip Open Antique Sterling Silver Cigarette Case 1911 Stylish Antique 134g

Description

A rare English antique solid sterling silver cigarette case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1911 with the makers mark being that of D Bros. It has been superbly designed and the cartouche has been engraved with a Coat of Arms and the motto PATIENCE AND COURAGE. To open it you gently press near the top front, as shown, and it flips open automatically. It has been superbly designed and is in outstanding condition being free from dings splits and repairs. The elastic straps need replacing as they have become slack. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (8.5cm) tall by 3 inches (7.8cm) wide by over 0.5 inch (1.5cm) deep and weighs 134 grams. A beautifully designed rare piece.
