Description

A superbly rare English provincial antique solid sterling silver and polished handled apple corer. It is hallmarked for Newcastle 1824 with the makers marks being those of Reid and Son. It has a stained green polished handle and silver coring section engraved with a Stags Head crest used by the Young, Power, and Kerr families. It has been superbly designed and is in super condition having no dings splits distortions or repairs, the handle is firm with no cracks. It measures approx. 6 inches (15cms) long by 0.75 inches (1.8cms) wide and weighs 35 grams. A very rare piece.
