Description

A beautiful German 800 solid silver box. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark along with makers mark of Simon Rosenau and the 800 silver standard mark. I would date it to c1900. It has been beautifully made being embossed with a 18th century courtship scenes and cherubs. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It closes tightly. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.6cm) across by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) wide by 1.25 inch (3.3cm) tall and weighs 44 grams. A beautiful piece.
