Description

A beautiful French solid silver egg cup. It is hallmarked with the Minerva head mark signifying 950 silver standard, above sterling at 925, along with a makers mark. I would date it to c1900-1910. It has a beautiful Art Nouveau design having leaf like feet. It has been engraved with the initials TS or ST as they are entwined. It is in superb condition having no dents splits or repairs. It measures almost 2 inches (5cms) tall by 1.5 inches (4.2cms) wide and weighs 46 grams. A beautifully made piece.
