A rare Scottish Provincial silver and horn sugar shaker / caster. It is hallmarked for Edinburgh 1907 with the makers marks being William Dunningham of Aberdeen. It has an interesting horn body and glass base with silver lid and collar. It is in very good condition being free from dings splits and repairs. The horn has a couple of cracks around the base but these have no affect - see final photo's. The inside is clean and the lid fits nice and tight. It measures approx. 7.25 inches (18cms) tall by 2.25 inches (5.8cm) wide and weighs 124 grams. A beautifully made rare example.
