17th Century Copy Antique Solid Sterling Silver Porringer Bowl Cup 1912 126g

Description

A beautiful English antique solid sterling silver porringer cup / bowl. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1912 with the makers marks being that of Henry Stratford Ltd. It has been superbly designed being hand plannished and embossed with flowers - most likely a copy of a piece from the 1600's. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 5 inches (13cm) across including the handles and 3 inches (7.7cm) excluding them by 2.5 inches (6.2cm) tall to the top of the handles and weighs 126 grams. A very good quality piece.
